Webbcall Terms of Service

The terms that govern Webbcall accounts, credits, calls, and virtual numbers.

  • You are responsible for call content, recipient consent, do-not-call rules, caller ID use, recording consent, and legal compliance.
  • Webbcall may restrict, suspend, terminate, block, or investigate accounts, calls, caller IDs, numbers, credits, or traffic for legal, safety, provider, payment, abuse, or operational reasons.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and DevX100 doing business as Webbcall ("Webbcall", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing Webbcall, purchasing credits, placing calls, verifying numbers, purchasing virtual numbers, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Webbcall Acceptable Use Policy, and you acknowledge the Webbcall Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you may not use Webbcall.

If you use Webbcall for a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" then it includes both you and that organization.

2. Service Description

Webbcall is a browser-based voice calling application that may provide:

  • Outbound voice calling through a web browser.
  • Prepaid calling credits.
  • Destination-based calling rates.
  • Caller ID selection.
  • Verification of personal caller ID numbers.
  • A shared Webbcall caller ID available to users and controlled by Webbcall.
  • Purchase, cancellation, or release of virtual phone numbers.
  • Credit transaction history and billing records.
  • Related telecommunications, payment, account, and support features.

Webbcall may add, remove, suspend, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time, subject to applicable law.

3. No Emergency Calling

Webbcall is not an emergency calling service and must not be used to call emergency services such as 911, 112, 999, 100, 101, 102, 108, or any similar emergency number.

Webbcall is not a replacement for a mobile phone, landline, or other service capable of emergency calling. You must maintain separate emergency calling capability.

4. Eligibility

You may use Webbcall only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You can enter into a binding legal agreement.
  • Your use is lawful in every jurisdiction relevant to you, the call recipient, the caller ID, the destination, and the service.
  • You are not barred from using the service under applicable law, sanctions rules, carrier rules, provider policies, or these Terms.

Webbcall is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or use Webbcall.

We may require identity, payment, phone, or other verification before allowing access.

5. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate and current account information. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including calls, credit usage, virtual number purchases, caller ID verification, and any activity by people who access your account.

You must protect your email account, devices, browser sessions, and login methods. Notify us promptly at support@webbcall.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or restrict your account if we believe account information is inaccurate, incomplete, unauthorized, risky, abusive, or unlawful.

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The phone numbers you dial.
  • The caller IDs you select.
  • The content and purpose of your calls.
  • Obtaining all required permissions, consents, licenses, registrations, and approvals.
  • Complying with all telecommunications, telemarketing, anti-spam, recording, privacy, consumer protection, sanctions, export, and industry rules that apply to your use.

Webbcall does not provide legal advice. You must determine whether your calling activity is lawful.

7. Caller ID Rules

You may place calls only using caller IDs made available to you by Webbcall, including:

  • A personal phone number that you own or control and have verified through Webbcall.
  • A virtual number purchased through Webbcall.
  • A shared Webbcall caller ID assigned by Webbcall.

You must not:

  • Use unauthorized caller IDs.
  • Misrepresent your identity or the origin of a call.
  • Impersonate another person, business, government agency, bank, carrier, emergency service, or trusted institution.
  • Use caller ID to deceive, defraud, harm, harass, wrongly obtain anything of value, or evade call blocking, complaints, or enforcement.
  • Circumvent Webbcall caller ID verification, Twilio controls, carrier controls, or compliance systems.

Webbcall may block, replace, withdraw, or restrict caller IDs at any time for safety, provider, legal, compliance, abuse, operational, or business reasons.

8. Shared Webbcall Caller ID

Webbcall allow's users to place calls using a shared Webbcall caller ID. The public pool number is a shared Webbcall caller ID available to all users and controlled by Webbcall.

The shared Webbcall caller ID:

  • Is owned, controlled, leased, or managed by Webbcall, Twilio, carriers, or other providers.
  • Is not sold to you.
  • May be assigned, rotated, reassigned, restricted, or withdrawn at any time.
  • May be monitored through metadata and complaints for fraud prevention, abuse investigation, carrier compliance, and service protection.

You must not claim ownership of the shared Webbcall caller ID, list it as your dedicated business number, use it to impersonate others, or rely on it for inbound calls, identity, account recovery, regulated notices, or long-term business continuity unless Webbcall expressly agrees in writing.

9. Personal Number Verification

Webbcall allow's you to verify a personal phone number for use as caller ID. By submitting a number for verification, you represent that:

  • You own or control the number.
  • You are authorized to receive (OTP) SMS messages or activation calls at that number.
  • Your use of the number as caller ID is lawful.
  • You will remove the number if you lose ownership, control, or authorization.

Verification may require SMS codes, Twilio outgoing caller ID activation calls, credit charges, fraud checks, or additional review. Webbcall may deny, revoke, or re-check verification at any time.

Personal number verification fees are non-refundable once verification has been completed.

10. Virtual Numbers

Webbcall allow's you to purchase and use virtual phone numbers supplied by Twilio.

Virtual numbers are subject to availability, provider rules, number-plan rules, country-specific requirements, address or identity verification, carrier approval, regulatory restrictions, pricing changes, and technical limitations.

Unless Webbcall expressly states otherwise in writing:

  • You receive a limited, revocable right to use the virtual number through Webbcall.
  • You do not own the number.
  • Numbers may be unavailable, reclaimed, suspended, reassigned, or released by Webbcall, Twilio, carriers, or regulators.
  • Porting, inbound calling, messaging, emergency calling, and long-term availability are not guaranteed.
  • Monthly or recurring charges may apply while the number remains active.
  • If you do not maintain sufficient credits or violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, Webbcall may suspend, cancel, or release the number.

Virtual number purchases, renewals, and provisioned billing periods are non-refundable once the number is provisioned or renewed.

11. Credits, Rates, and Billing

Webbcall uses prepaid credits. Credits may be used for calls, verification charges, virtual number purchases, renewals, or other paid features.

Credits:

  • Are non-transferable unless Webbcall approves otherwise in writing.
  • Do not expire while your account remains active.
  • Will get deducted for completed calls, billed minutes, verification charges, virtual number charges, and other paid services.

An account may be considered inactive if there has been no sign-in, payment, call, number verification, virtual number purchase or renewal, support interaction, or other account activity for 12 consecutive months. Accounts inactive for 12 months may be subject to closure after reasonable notice where required by law. If an inactive account is closed, remaining credits may become unavailable.

Calling rates may vary by destination, carrier pricing, region, volume, taxes, fees, promotions, provider costs, and Webbcall pricing configuration. Rate estimates shown before a call are provided for convenience and may differ from final billing due to call duration, provider data, rounding, taxes, fees, or technical limitations.

You must review your credit balance and transaction history. Billing disputes must be submitted to support@webbcall.com within 30 days after the transaction date.

12. Payments and Payment Provider

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. You may be required to accept the payment provider's terms, privacy policy, buyer terms, refund rules, tax rules, fraud checks, and compliance requirements.

Webbcall does not store complete payment card information on its own servers. Payment providers may collect and process payment credentials, billing details, tax information, fraud signals, and transaction information.

You authorize Webbcall and its payment providers to charge the amounts you select, apply credits to your account after successful payment, correct billing errors, and process chargebacks, reversals, or adjustments where applicable.

You are responsible for taxes, duties, telecom fees, regulatory fees, payment fees, currency conversion charges, and similar charges unless Webbcall expressly states otherwise.

13. Refund Policy

You can purchase credits to make calls. Credits are denominated in USD and are non-refundable.

14. Call Recording, Monitoring, and Consent

Webbcall currently does not intentionally provide call recording storage. If recording, transcription, voicemail, monitoring, or similar features are introduced, Webbcall will update its policies before enabling them where required.

If you record, monitor, transcribe, broadcast, or store calls using any external tool, device, browser feature, third-party service, or future Webbcall feature, you are solely responsible for obtaining all legally required consent and providing all required notices.

15. Prohibited Use

You must comply with the Webbcall Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:

  • Spam calling or unsolicited bulk calling.
  • Robocalls, prerecorded calls, autodialed calls, or AI-generated calling unless expressly approved by Webbcall in writing and lawful in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Caller ID spoofing, misrepresentation, impersonation, or evasion.
  • Fraud, phishing, scams, social engineering, identity theft, or deceptive practices.
  • Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, hate, abuse, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Traffic pumping, artificial traffic generation, revenue share fraud, call looping, short-duration call abuse, or carrier abuse.
  • Calls that violate consent, do-not-call, opt-out, telemarketing, privacy, recording, sanctions, export, or consumer protection rules.
  • Any use that violates Twilio, carrier, payment provider, hosting provider, or telecommunications network policies.

16. Service Availability

Webbcall depends on browsers, devices, internet connections, Twilio, telecommunications carriers, Supabase, Dodo Payments, hosting providers, proxy providers, payment networks, and other third parties.

We do not guarantee that Webbcall will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available in every country, compatible with every device or browser, or able to connect every call. Calls may fail, degrade, be delayed, be blocked, be labeled as spam, have incorrect status data, or be unavailable due to technical, carrier, legal, regulatory, abuse-prevention, payment, or provider reasons.

17. Changes to the Service

We may change, limit, suspend, discontinue, or replace any part of Webbcall at any time. We may also change rates, fees, credit rules, supported destinations, number availability, caller ID options, verification requirements, and provider integrations.

Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes.

18. Third-Party Services

Webbcall integrates with third-party services, including Twilio, Supabase, Dodo Payments, Google Sign-In, Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, hosting providers, proxy providers, payment networks, and telecommunications networks. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law.

19. Intellectual Property

Webbcall and its software, interfaces, design, branding, logos, documentation, code, systems, and content are owned by Webbcall or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, Webbcall grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, lease, sublicense, exploit, or create derivative works from Webbcall except where allowed by law.

20. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, you grant Webbcall a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.

21. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, calls, credits, caller IDs, virtual numbers, or access to Webbcall if we believe:

  • You violated these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your activity is fraudulent, abusive, risky, unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
  • Your account creates security, payment, carrier, provider, legal, or regulatory risk.
  • You fail required verification.
  • Your payment fails, is reversed, is charged back, or appears unauthorized.
  • A provider, carrier, regulator, court, law enforcement agency, or payment network requests or requires action.
  • Continuing service could harm Webbcall, users, recipients, providers, carriers, payment networks, or the public.

We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, or respond to urgent risk.

After termination, we may retain records as described in the Privacy Policy and may deny future accounts where permitted by law.

22. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webbcall is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, call quality, call completion, caller ID display, number availability, and compliance for your specific use case.

Webbcall does not guarantee's that every calls will connect, caller ID will display as expected, numbers will remain available, credits will be sufficient for a specific call length, rates will remain unchanged, or the service will meet legal requirements for your calling activity.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some disclaimers may not apply to you.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webbcall and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for lost data, lost business, service interruption, call failure, caller ID labeling, number loss, carrier blocking, payment failure, regulatory action, or third-party conduct.

If something goes wrong, WebbCall's maximum liability to you will not exceed the greater of:

* The fees you paid us during the previous 3 months; or * USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

24. Your Responsibilities

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Webbcall and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

  • Your use of Webbcall.
  • Your calls, caller IDs, call content, recipients, campaigns, or compliance obligations.
  • Your violation of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Your violation of law, carrier rules, provider policies, or third-party rights.
  • Fraud, abuse, caller ID misuse, telemarketing violations, recording violations, or payment disputes connected to your account.

25. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by The laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute, claim, or proceeding relating to Webbcall or these Terms must be brought in The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, except where applicable law requires a different venue.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date. Where required by law or where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice.

Your continued use of Webbcall after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

27. Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or operation of law.
